For the last 10 years, I have been interested in painting outside in watercolour and my travels have taken me to some interesting places to paint with teachers and other artists.

Because of the pandemic, it hasn’t been possible to travel for about 3 years, so this recent trip to France and Spain was really special.

The first painting is in a small French town, Quillan.

The reflections of the buildings on the water of the river was stunning on that sunny day, so I found a shady spot under a bridge to try to capture the mirror image.
