Naturally we are water. Approximately 70% of our bodies are made up of water through our body fluids and blood, which feeds and nourishes our cells, organs, muscles and our overall well-being. Coincidentally the world is covered by more than 70% water and also plays an essential role in the well-being of the world’s eco system. This natural connection between ourselves and nature is not surprising since the sound of water or just being near water can create a calming and peaceful state of being. Water evokes a meditative state that makes us happier, healthier, calmer, more creative, and more able to enjoy the present moment.  The element of water represents flow and change.   Where in your life do you go with the flow?  Where are you creating resistance to flow or changes?  Being in the flow rather than being stuck or “frozen”, is allowing what is to happen, to be present, open and adapting to the changes happening in and around us. Acknowledging the flow of water is to be like water. When we allows ourselves to be like water we can release tensions or resistance within, open up our pathways within our body and mind and allow the present flow of change and growth.  Bruce Lee, a martial artist, actor/director and philosopher.
