Did you know that every day 27 Canadians are diagnosed with a brain tumour? This Sunday Dianne Hadad is taking part in the Walk to End Brain Tumours in Guelph. Please consider supporting Dianne by donating or joining her for the walk. Click here to visit Dianne's personal donation and information page. Here's a note from Dianne on the impact that brain tumours have had on her life: Hi Everyone, As you may know, the impact of a brain tumour is life changing. On November 1st, 2014 the words "you have a brain tumor" were delivered to my beautiful mom. And just three months later on February 22nd, 2015 those same terrifying words rocked the family of my childhood friend's mom. Those five words no one should ever have to hear, and I am taking action to join the movement to end brain tumours by taking part in Spring Sprint on Sunday, May 24, 2015. Together our two families are participating to raise awareness, gain support and fight brain cancer side-by-side. You can support us by making a secure donation using your credit card on our team's fundraising page (see the page link at the bottom of this email). Your donation will help us to reach our fundraising goal but more importantly, it will help brain tumour patients and our families by ensuring access to important education, information, and support that is vitally needed after a diagnosis of a brain tumour. Dollars raised also go to funding critical research so we can find out what causes brain tumours and how we can more effectively treat them all. On behalf of both our families impacted by brain tumours, thank you for your support! Sincerely, Dianne Hadad P.S. We would love to have you join our team at this wonderful family-friendly event!
